Silent Sovereignty (Esther 1 & 2)

What do you do when it feels like God is silent? What if all around you things look hopeless and dangerous? This is where the story of Esther picks up; the Persian king Xerxes is on the throne and he appears to be all powerful and in control of the entire known world... or is he? It turns out there is much that we can take comfort in from the book of Esther. It isn't in amazing miracles or wonderful signs from God, but in the backdrop of the whole story you see God silently working out the details of His good plan. How might God be at work even in the mundane details of your life?
