Secure In Christ (Colossians 1:15-23)

As a new year begins you may have goals or resolutions that you have set to become a better person or be happier or accomplish something worthwhile. While all those things can be helpful, sometimes it can subtly undermine the way we think about salvation. We can go from a mindset of being saved by grace through faith to one of being saved by our own efforts to be better. As this new year begins, with it's new hopes, dreams, and goals, remember your position in Christ; and the security, hope, and rest that He alone can bring.
