Hypocritical Independence (Luke 11:37-53)

What is the biggest danger facing the church today? While it may be easy to point fingers outside the church, in today's passage Jesus brings our attention to problems within the church. The hypocrisy of the religiously zealous, morally conservative, outwardly clean people pose the biggest threat to the health of the church. Although it is an uncomfortable passage, it brings up important themes for us to consider in our lives today.
