Psalm 47 stands out in this series both in terms of its brevity, but also it’s all out, holding nothing back jubilation. A couple of weeks ago we were at a royal wedding, but this Psalm finds us at a coronation. And the mood is triumphant. We’ve taken a look at songs on this album that are for particular moods and circumstances - Psalm 47 firmly fixes its eyes on the subject - the Lord, the King of all the earth.
