    Richard Perkins

    Senior Minister

Richard is married to Rosslyn. She works part time as a local GP, full time as a Mum. Somehow she also manages to use their home for hospitality and oversee the Women’s Bible Study. They have three primary school aged children; Rufus, Flora and Digby.

Richard was one of the first 9:38 Ministry Apprentices at Dundonald Church, Wimbledon and trained there for three years. He graduated from Oak Hill Theological College in June 2002 having studied Theology as an Anglican Ordinand. Prior to full time ministry Richard was employed by the Royal Navy as an Air Engineer Officer and then as a schoolteacher in Henley on Thames. He is a member of the London Men’s Convention Committee.

He loves the West Wing, listens to Coldplay and is rarely happier than when sat on the sofa with his family watching sport! He still manages to play rugby on a regular basis and is a member of Wimbledon RFC. His other interests include Harlequins RFC, Surrey County Cricket and Portsmouth FC. But he can also read and occasionally travels up to town to savour the culture.

    Pete Matthew

    Minister

Pete is a Cornishman married to Nicki. She’s very proud of her Fijian heritage though most of us think of her as originating from Ringwood. They are parents to twins Helena and Henry.

Pete graduated from Oak Hill Theological College in 2008 and has been working at CCB ever since. Prior to training as an Anglican Ordinand he was a 9:38 Ministry Apprentice based in Wimbledon and at the lunchtime ministry in Mayfair.

His employment history makes for an interesting CV and includes delivery driving, selling second hand cars, management consultancy and training companies in selling computing packages. He used to play rugby but now watches it instead. He loves foreign holidays, whisky and his family, though not necessarily in that order!

Christian is married to Helen who works in the NHS. They have two primary school aged daughters; Sian and Jessica. He is a management consultant by profession. His strategic insight and organisation has been hugely helpful at CCB, but also within the wider Co-Mission network of churches. Christian was converted through the ministry of Dundonald Church and became an elder at CCB a few years after we launched. He and Helen were founding members at CCB. They were single in those days. There are all sorts of hidden benefits to church planting!

He’s keen on encouraging people to joyfully lift up Jesus name as we meet together. Colin is married to Andie, lives in Norbury and works as a freelance designer. He also plays violin and mandolin, but they really only come out at Christmas these days.

Anna is our much loved Essex girl! She’s also our gifted administrator. She keeps CCB on track.

Prior to working at CCB she was an undergraduate at the University of Leicester, where she studied Biological Sciences. She then worked in industry for a scientific research institute connected with St Bartholomew’s and the London Hospitals. She has been on the staff at CCB since 2007.
