Parents
For Parents
Being a parent in London can feel like a daunting task. New parents often quickly discover that their community and support structures are spread wider than they’re able to reach. In a large city, parents can greatly value the help that is just around the corner.
Children are at the very heart of our church family and we want to support parents as we raise our children together.
We want to provide practical help and real support to parents at every stage. In Christ Church Kids we want to encourage the whole family, rather than just the child. So each week on the service sheet, we explain fully what your children are learning in their classes. We also try to develop open relationships between our leaders and the parents, whose children they serve. We want to put parents first.
Our regular parenting evenings aim to be a place where honest difficulties are addressed for those with pre-school and primary school aged children.
For Mums
The Women’s Bible Study meets each Wednesday morning during term time in Balham. It’s run by Mums in the church as an opportunity to study the Bible together, and support each other in prayer and other practical ways.
All Mums are welcome, whether you describe yourself as a Christian or not. The group currently meets on Wednesday mornings when a crèche is provided for those with young children.
