There’s a lot going on in a normal week at CCB. There ought to be something for everyone. Our regular weekly meetings include things like Home Groups, Knowing God and Women’s Bible Study. There are prayer triplets, perhaps a men’s breakfast or a girls’ curry night. We start every month with a midweek prayer meeting. We’re convinced that we’re dependent upon God to prosper our church life. And so we put prayer at the centre of all that we do. To make it possible for as many as can to attend, we cancel all small groups that week. We meet to pray at Chestnut Grove School at 8.00pm and finish at 9.30pm. It’s in this context that we commemorate the death of Jesus Christ and share the Lord’s Supper together.
